Jukebox Musical 2012
Dear Parents and Dancers
Our concert is in a month and a half
and we are all busy in preparation for it.
Our concert this year is entitled
“JUKEBOX MUSICALS” and is based on excerpts from West End and Broadway
Musicals.
The children are very excited about
it and we are looking forward to a very dramatic and theatrical concert.
Just to refresh your minds, we have
closed our entries for the concert this week as costume orders have already
been sent in.
Couple of pointers for new comers
“especially”:
1. Photography sessions for class photos
and individual photos will commence this week.
The photographer will be taking
photos for the students for the concert.
Package A – Standard SOLO picture
Students should be in
complete uniform according to their class and
Grades, hair gelled and
in a bun, stockings and appropriate dance shoes.
Package B – Themed SOLO picture
Students will have a
themed GLAM photo shoot with make-up and costume.
Sample of the shoot will
be provided.
Package C – A GROUP photo – minimum of 2-4
persons
NOTE: Please book in advance as slots are LIMITED
Solo Photos will be included in
Studio Scene’s Concert program book
Please note that solo picture is OPTIONAL. Your child will havea class
photo in the program which is free.
2. Rehearsal schedules for final week
before concert will be given to you by next week. We’re still in the process of
working on rehearsal times with Amphitheatre. We are trying to work out the
time schedules for all schools involved.
3. Please note as always the week
leading up to the concert will be busy with rehearsals. All schedules and
notices will be announce in our studioscenebrunei.blogspot.com
Should
you need a hard copy of the schedules, please collect it from the reception/
front desk.
4. Please let us know if your children
need stockings or shoes for the concert as soon as possible and not a week
before the concert.
5. Please note that the last day for
payment of costume is this week, we need to pay in advance to the seamstress to
proceed to make the costumes.
